Meet the maker

Kyle's Kustom Pens was formed in 2016 after I received a wood lathe as a gift!  I turned my first pen that night with it and was hooked ever since.  My passion of creating has drove me over the years to search out unique and creative materials to make pens from.  In 2021 I was getting frustrated with the limited styles and options in the component pen market that I decided to make the push to offering bespoke style fountain pens!  I had built up years of experience behind a wood lathe so the transition was fairly easy.  Then early 2022 I launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to fund the purchase of much needed equipment to push my bespoke pens further in order to comfortably sell them!! 

Bespoke Names

I wanted a unique and meaningful way to name my bespoke pens and spent days trying to decide on names.   Then one day at work when I was looking at my digital photo frame scrolling pictures of my family and kids it hit me!!  Each pen model is named after one of my 4 children having a special meaning to me!
